Red-winged Blackbird Enamel Pin

From Alberta, Crystal Driedger’s art reminds us of the value and importance of the natural world and encourages us to take notice of the beauty that exists in even the smallest of creatures and plants.

This is a gold plated, hard enamel pin of a Red-Winged Blackbird. The beautiful call of these birds “cronk-o-leee” makes any visit to a lake where these birds live feel like you’re at nature’s finest concert. This pin is of the male of the species (the females being a very camouflaged speckled brown).

The pin comes on a recycled kraft backing card with scientific Red-winged Blackbird facts.
