Turtle Island Sequoia Bar Soap

Sequoia is a proudly Indigenous brand that is 100% owned and operated by Indigenous women. Founded in 2002 by Michaelee Lazore who is Kanien'kehá:ka (Mohawk) from Akwesáhsne and Northern Paiute from Nevada. The design, packaging, and production of all products is done in the working studio locally. In order to keep the next seven generations in mind, the production is sustainable and the ingredients are ethically sourced. Sequoia represents nature and strength, as the Sequoia tree can live 2,000 to 3,000 years.

Sequoia soaps are made with organic shea butter, organic castor oil and coconut oil, to hydrate and nourish your dry skin. They are made with 100% natural vegetable oils and will leave your skin feeling refreshed and touched with subtle scents.

Turtle Island is an earthy scent. The Iroquoian creation story teaches us that the continent of North America was formed from the shell of a great turtle. The turtle rose up from the sea to provide skywoman a place to land on. Just as Sequoia gives thanks for the world walked upon, they've created a magical soap that captures the essence of this magical story. This soap is a magical swirl of patchouli and spearmint oils, loved by all.
